About us

The Dyslexia Association started in 1971 and covers the East Midlands, offering information and advice, screening, assessment, one to one tuition and other courses. We provide high quality services to people with dyslexia, their families, employers, educators and the wider community.

We have worked extensively with the Learning and Skills Council, local councils, Job Centres, employers and training providers to help dyslexics improve their skills.

Our Helpline operates Monday to Friday from 10 am to 12:30 pm and 1 pm to 4 pm. We will be pleased to give information and advice about dyslexia and to tell you about our services.

The Dyslexia Association is a membership organisation and welcomes new members. If you are interested in supporting the association and becoming a legal member please call for details on 0115 924 6880.
