News from The Dyslexia Association
March 2013
Many congratulations to our client Elspeth Stockwell, whose first application to exhibit a planting design at the BBC Gardeners' World Live Show 2013, has been accepted. The ' Birmingham Border ' design, which forms part of the RHS Flower Show, was inspired by her passion for sailing. Click here to read how Elspeth used the strategies she learnt at The Dyslexia Association, to put her application together. The BBC Gardeners' World Live Show runs 12-16 June 2013 at the NEC, Birmingham.

3rd June 2011: SEN Green Paper
If you are interested in the way our schools support children with dyslexia, you may wish to make a comment to the Department for Education or to your MP about the Green Paper 'Support and Aspiration'.
This is a government consultation about plans to reorganise the provision for children with disabilities or Special Educational Needs in England and Wales.
We agree with the government that the proposals should improve the lives of children with disabilities which require special support in both health and education, but we think that for most children with dyslexia , the proposals will mean CUTs.

A very sucessful day! Thanks to the members of Rutland Dyslexia Outreach who organised it.
