Helpline and Library

Our free confidential Helpline service provides information and advice on dyslexia and related subjects. There is no charge other than the cost of a standard rate telephone call.

We advise people with dyslexia and others who work with them or support them.

We will tell you about our paid-for services if these are appropriate for your needs, but we are also very happy to support people in our area who do not use those services.

The phone Helpline is sometimes very busy and we may be unable to answer if we are already working with another client. If you get no reply, please wait and then try again later, or leave a message on our answerphone.

We have a small specialist library which includes:

  • Books about dyslexia and related subjects
  • Books suitable for beginning readers with dyslexia
  • Audio tapes for a wide range of ages
  • Teaching and learning resources

There is no charge for browsing in the library, and borrowing is allowed for a small annual fee. If you would like to view the library please call in advance to arrange a convenient time.
