Covid update – Lockdown Part 2

In light of the new national restrictions which will come into force on Thursday, 5 November 2020, The Dyslexia Association has made the decision that we will, unfortunately, have to postpone all diagnostic assessments and face to face screenings which were booked to take place between 5 November and 1 December.

We will review the situation towards the end of November with the hope that we can resume delivery in December.

All of our staff will continue working from their homes so that we can carry on providing all of our other services.

Our Helpline will be providing information, advice and support at the following times by phone and email

  • Mondays 1:00pm (13:00) – 5:00pm (17:00)
  • Tuesdays 9:00am (09:00) – 1:00pm (13:00)
  • Wednesdays 2:00pm (14:00) – 6:00pm (18:00)
  • Thursdays 9:00am (09:00) – 1:00pm (13:00)
  • Fridays 9:00am (09:00) – 1:00pm (13:00)

Online dyslexia screening tests are available for children and adults, as is the online dyscalculia screening test for adults.

Children’s tuition will continue to be provided online by our specialist teachers.

Workplace needs assessments, assistive technology and coping strategies training will also continue to be delivered online by our specialist assessors and trainers.
