Jobs at The Dyslexia Association

Would you like to work with an organisation who is professional, supportive and dedicated?

Welcome in different languages

Enriching the lives of people who have dyslexia is at the heart of our charity.  We enable dyslexic children and adults of all ages and backgrounds and help them to live happy, productive lives and reach their full potential.

The Dyslexia Association works with a network of motivated, experienced and professional staff and associates to provide high-quality services and support to people with dyslexia.

Why work for The Dyslexia Association?

  • Working for The Dyslexia Association gives you the opportunity to make a difference to the lives of people with dyslexia.

  • Work with a team of approachable, friendly and forward thinking individuals.

  • We will accommodate your personal circumstances wherever possible by offering flexible working and part time opportunities.  A number of our existing employees already work part time or job share.  For self-employed Professional Associates, we are very flexible and happy to negotiate work and hours to suit your availability.

  • If you are working with us as a self-employed Professional Associate, we will source and organise the booking of any services you deliver for us.  We will also handle all financial arrangements directly with clients and ensure that you are paid for the work you do with us.

What do our Staff and Professional Associates say about working with us?

I like the ethos that you can go to anyone for advice or openly discuss issues with each other.

I find TDA an excellent company to work for as they are supportive and encouraging when it’s needed, whilst trusting your professionalism to do the best job you can.

I work mainly in workplace settings and appointments are always well organised, even down to the parking. I am given relevant information about the client beforehand and so I always feel well prepared. TDA provides lots of training opportunities to keep me up to date with assistive technology and report writing. There is always someone I can ask if I am not sure about something or need extra information.

One of my favourite companies to work with
