Terry is our chair and has a particular weakness for impractical Italian sports cars. He lives with his wife, Alfa Romeo and two adopted rabbits in Leicestershire
Dee Caunt
Dee is our treasurer and first became actively involved with The Dyslexia Association in 1990 and was the ex-CEO. She is dyslexic herself, as are many members of her extended family.
Nikki Purcell
Nikki is an ex-headteacher of four schools and passionate about special educational needs education. Nikki recently semi-retired to enjoy her growing brood of grandchildren.
Julia McMurray
Julia recently joined the trustees after leaving TDA in 2021 when she was the Operations Manager. Julia knows the organisation top to bottom and what makes it work.
Dan Morley
Dan is the Head of Attractions & Retail at Lake District Estates, is dyslexic and wanted to volunteer with a relevant charity – and we were happy to offer him the chance!
Andrew Kays
Andrew is the CEO of a Cyber Security company and joined as a Trustee of the charity in September 2020 after discovering he is dyslexic and wanted to help raise awareness.
