Dee is our treasurer and first became actively involved with The Dyslexia Association in 1990 and was the ex-CEO. She is dyslexic herself, as are many members of her extended family.

Dave has been co-opted as a new trustee to our Board. Dave specialises in working in health and safety, and employment legislation with a wide variety of employers with his organisation Croner. Dave is the proud stepdad of a neurodiverse child.

Dan is the Head of Attractions & Retail at Lake District Estates, is dyslexic and wanted to volunteer with a relevant charity – and we were happy to offer him the chance!

Nikki is an ex-headteacher of four schools and passionate about special educational needs education. Nikki recently semi-retired to enjoy her growing brood of grandchildren.

Kelsey is a leadership and organisational development consultant working across education and not-for-profit settings. As a Trustee, Kelsey brings expertise to help organisations build strong foundations for long-term impact.
