Salary: £40,000 per annum, pro rata
Location: Flexible / Remote with regular travel to Nottingham

About the Role
The Dyslexia Association (TDA) is seeking a Senior Manager: Lead for Workplace Services to provide strategic and operational leadership across our growing workplace offer.
This is a senior role within the organisation, contributing as a member of the Senior Management Team, with responsibility for shaping, overseeing and developing high-quality, responsive workplace services that support neurodivergent adults and promote neuroinclusive working environments.
Our workplace services include:
- Workplace Needs Assessments
- Assistive Technology recommendations and training
- Coping Strategies training
- Awareness and training delivery for employers
You will lead and support a team of associate assessors and trainers, build strong working relationships with employers, and play a key role in developing innovative, high-impact services that meet emerging need.
About You
We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and values-led leader who is confident working both strategically and operationally.
You will ideally:
- Be a Level 7 qualified assessor with experience of working with adults
- Have experience working at a senior or leadership level
- Be confident leading, supporting and quality-assuring the work of associate assessors and trainers
- Enjoy working collaboratively with employers and external stakeholders
- Be motivated to develop neuroinclusive workplaces through responsive, evidence-informed services
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Oversight and coordination of all workplace services
- Line management and leadership of associate assessors and trainers
- Quality assurance of assessments, reports, training and service delivery
- Developing and evolving services in response to demand and best practice
- Maintaining strong knowledge of workplace strategies and assistive technology
- Contributing to strategic planning, data analysis and organisational priorities
- Representing workplace services internally and externally
- Upholding TDA policies, safeguarding and health & safety standards
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Essential:
- Level 7 SpLD qualification, or currently working towards
- Experience working with young people or adults in workplace or education settings
- Experience of working in a senior or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of workplace coping strategies and reasonable adjustments
- Experience delivering training or tuition
- Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills
Desirable:
- Level 4 Workplace Assessors Qualification
- Knowledge and experience of Assistive Technology
- Certified AT qualifications (e.g. Dragon, Read&Write)
- Understanding of neuroinclusive workplace design and service development
Please note:
If you have strong assessment experience but limited workplace-specific experience, a Level 4 Workplace Needs Assessment qualification will be offered to the successful candidate.
